The municipality of Naga is situated in the Western portion of the province of Zamboanga del Sur, Region IX and eastern portion of Ipil, the Provincial Center of Zamboanga Sibugay.  It is 14 kilometers from the heart of Ipil and 12 kilometers to the center of Kabasalan.

It is bounded from the north by the municipality of Liloy, Zamboabga Del Norte, whose boundary lies at the mountain ranges of Barangay Galingon. On the south, the rich fishing ground of the Sibuguey Bay. On the east, by the municipality of Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay.On the west, by the municipality of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Naga is approximately 123 kilometers west of Pagadian City, the Capital of Zamboanga Del Sur and 162 kilometers from Zamboanga City. It is specifically located with map’s coordinates 47 and 143 ordinates. Longitude 122º 36’ 14”, Latitude 07º 46’ 28”.
